Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 1, 2026

Studently (“we”) provides a student planner app. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how to reach us. This is not legal advice.

Who we are

Studently is operated at student-ly.org. Contact: hello@student-ly.org.

Information we collect

How we use it

We use this information only to operate Studently: show your planner, send the reminders you turned on, parse syllabi you upload, keep your account secure, and email waitlist signups when the app is available. We do not sell your personal information.

Processors

We use Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions) to host accounts and data. Syllabus text may be sent to an AI provider solely to extract course dates and tasks from the PDF you uploaded. Email may be sent through our email provider (Resend) when you request verification, due-date mail, or the App Store waitlist announcement.

Retention

We keep your data while your account exists. You can ask us to delete your account and associated data by emailing hello@student-ly.org.

Children

Studently is meant for students, including high school students. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.

Your choices

You can turn notifications off in Settings. You can request a copy or deletion of your data at the contact email above.

Changes

If this policy changes in a material way, we will update the date at the top of this page.
